CYBER SMART

Real focus being "cyber smart" so that our students and adults know how to interact to keep themselves safe online.
Some really good resources in this cybersmart curriculum.  10 categories within the resources which are updated regularly.

Each year this needs to be revisited.
Term 1:  Smart Learners (our Learn term)
Term 2:  Smart Footprint (our Create term)
Term 3:  Smart Relationships (our Share term)

The aim is to have the cyber smart curriculum interweaving into your classroom programme.

Hapara

Great programme to oversee the teaching and learning.

Protection and support systems for all.
Our presenter Kashmina was extremely capable at using "Explain Everything".  Really great to see the sites and learning through the lens of a new entrant classroom.  Again, it is essential to set up the ipads at the start to enable fluid and consistent learning for the students and teachers.  Another message of working collaboratively, sharing and creating in action!

Screen Castify

Great experience to have a go at Screen Castify.  It is important to be well planned and ready to go for this.  Not the best recording, but an example that it does work.  I have learnt not to put the camera on and record myself as that looks awful!!!  I can see the value in Screen Castify for playing back the learning and additionally for staff meetings and opportunities for access to learning if you have not been able to attend the meeting.

Yet again, another session to enable me to record evidence of my teaching and learning.  The shortcuts and practicing the learning is vital for me.  I need to keep working on "practice" sessions so that I retain this new learning.
